Ca Sella, Denia (Spain)
This villa was love at first sight. Built in 1969 by a renowned German architect, it is nestled in lush greenery, at the heart of an unspoilt natural setting.
Its organic architecture blends the building harmoniously into the landscape, drawing inspiration from the forms of nature and avoiding right angles. Despite the passing years, it has remained relatively well-preserved. However, over time, it has undergone a few unfortunate renovations that have altered its character.
It was therefore necessary to rediscover its original essence whilst reinterpreting it in line with contemporary standards. The aim was to create more spacious and modern living areas, whilst respecting the architect’s original vision.
This house perfectly embodies the spirit of the 1960s: an inventive, creative and rebellious era. There was no question of distorting it with an overly contemporary interpretation, but rather of revealing its character and creating a dialogue between it and our own era.
With a floor living area of 140m², this house is situated in the Montgó Natural Park, opposite La Sella Golf Course, in Dénia on the Costa Blanca.
